We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the non-governmental organization “KE.D.A.S – Center for International Solidarity and Cooperation” (hereinafter referred to as “KEDAS”). It was founded in 1996 by a group of scientists, consisting mainly of doctors, and is currently based in Athens. KEDAS’s primary purpose is to provide medical care and educational assistance to the populace of developing countries, heavily investing in Africa at the moment.
We participate in several projects, ongoing as well as completed ones (hospitals, medical centers, schools). Amongst the completed projects, the successful restoration and subsequent operation of a hospital in the city Kampala of Uganda as well as the implementation of a new health center in Bukoba in Tanzania, are noteworthy……
